As the wolf howls to the clear moon, they speak of clarity, and with dominance. In this chilly month, we too can let out a grand howl of sorts: one that reminds us of why we are here, what we have learned, the manner in which we wish to participate in in the new year, and what we are truly capable of, no matter what the natural or mental circumstances.

As July comes rushing in, I want to ask each of you to take time to cultivate slowness, and to connect to the world around you. We often value speed over slowness. We rush around, texting while we are talking to a dear friend, and sending e-mails while eating (you know you are all guilty of at least one of these!).
