A Day in the Life on Bimini

Location, location, location!
We will be just steps away from our boat for daily dolphin encounters. Explore the island’s beaches and charming town on foot, as well as connect with like-minded souls and our heartfelt crew in our Human Pod. Enjoy sailing, dolphin swims, and healthy, delicious food at our laid-back Retreat Centre. Reconnect with your body to better connect with the dolphins.
The dining room and beautiful meditation/yoga studio are in the main house. The rooms, just a few steps from the water, are clean, modern and very generous. Previous guests describe them as ‘comfortably functional, rather than luxurious, suited to the laid back vibe that characterizes our vacations’.
Accommodations
● The WildQuest Retreat Centre sits bay-side, in the friendly, Caribbean ‘funky’ fishing village of Porgy Bay, North Bimini. Stunning beaches are a minute’s walk away.
● Light, airy and spacious, with its own bay-side terrace and mooring, the WildQuest Retreat Centre is the perfect spot to relax and chill out after a day on the ocean.
● All rooms are non-smoking, with air-conditioning, a small fridge and most have a private bath.
● The sunrise over the bay is spectacular, a joy to behold from the terrace and bay-side bedrooms. Treat yourself to a bay-side room upgrade. Numbers are limited so book early!
● The price of your package per person is based on double occupancy of each room, i.e., sharing a room with a partner, friend or other like-hearted participant. If you prefer not to share, we can upgrade you to a private single room for an additional fee.
About Bimini
● Bimini is about 50 miles off of the Florida coast and is on the westernmost edge of the Bahamas.
● Bimini is has about 2,000 inhabitants, and covers about 9 square miles, with many parts of the island not much wider than a football field.
● Since Bimini is part of the Bahamas, don’t forget you will need a passport!

As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a comforting family-style buffet dinner, lovingly prepared by our experienced cook. Feast on a delectable array of mostly organic dishes, thoughtfully curated to accommodate various dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options.

This was literally the most amazing experience of my life. The people here are really doing it right. All of our interactions with the dolphins were respectful and peaceful. We got plenty of instructions on how to interact with them so that they would want to stay. And the dolphins stuck around day after day, accepting and welcoming us into their world. Crew members helped me learn to free dive in a way the dolphins would respond well to and that allowed me to have amazing interactions with them. No one was EVER left out due to a lack of swimming ability or comfort in the water. I would recommend WildQuest to anyone. Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable $750 retainer is required at time of registration. Any cancellation made between November 30, 2024 and February 28, 2025 will result in a loss of 50% of the trip price. Any cancellation made after February 28, 2025 will result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum (if we do so, you will be refunded in full.)
Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans. There are some links down below for suggested carriers.
Note: If we find that the trip is not a good fit for you, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, in which case your payments will be fully refunded.

● Flights: Plan your own exciting journey to and from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and to and from Bimini, adding an extra touch of excitement to your retreat. You can elevate your travel experience with our recommended carrier for the Florida to Bimini portion of the travel, offering an all-inclusive package for just $505, plus a $22 fuel surcharge (subject to change).
● Gratitude and Appreciation: Show your appreciation for the incredible crew with a 10-15% gratuity, ensuring their hard work is recognized and valued.
● Optional Room Upgrades: Treat yourself to the ultimate luxury with a single room or ocean view upgrade, available upon request for a truly indulgent retreat experience.
● Culinary Experiences: Enjoy a special group dinner out on Bimini, along with Sunday night dinner and Monday morning breakfast in Fort Lauderdale, for a taste of local cuisine and culture. Note, all other meals on the retreat are provided.

PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS
If you have a pre-existing medical condition that you want covered and/or you want a comprehensive policy, please check with your insurance company as they may require the purchase of insurance within 24 hours of initial payment to WildQuest.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
This may cover you for the rare possibility that you might have to cancel due to illness, family emergency or situations out of your control.
It is also possible that a WildQuest program has to be cancelled due to weather or other adverse conditions out of our control. WildQuest will only cancel a program due to possible severe weather once NOAA has issued a hurricane warning for our area, which means hurricane conditions are expected within 36 hours.
In these cases there will be no refunds, program reschedules or replacements possible from WildQuest, so we highly recommend that you get insurance that covers for all these eventualities.
You may use any travel insurance company you like. Some websites that allow you to compare different insurers and policies are noted above.

About Renee Green:
Renee is a 300-hour certified yoga teacher and a Holy Fire Karuna Reiki Master. She is passionate about how yoga and reiki create a powerful connection to the mind, body and spirit, opening a space within which to free ourselves and find release from blockages that are preventing new growth in our lives. Renee is a fun-loving and joyful spirit who loves to create safe spaces for people to thrive and grow through creativity and expression. She values the importance of sacred time to drop in deep, to nurture and nourish the inner self as well as the physical body. She loves to share Reiki with animals as well as people, and has a passion for hiking and cooking, as well as her own meditation and yoga/reiki practices, and sharing healing sound through Himalayan Bowls. She loves teaming up with Stella, and that feeling is mutual!
About Stella Davies:
Stella is a Holy Fire Karuna Master, 200-hour yoga teacher, sound healer, and shamanic practitioner. Originally trained as a creative arts therapist in 1993, Stella went on to dive into natural voicework with Chloe Goodchild (www.thenakedvoice.com) and has taught this empowering and healing modality in Greece, Croatia, the UK, and now the US since 2000. Inspired by the power of sound healing and sacred chant, Stella has trained with many teachers and shares these practices widely, loving the blend of reiki and sound that creates such bliss and deep healing for recipients. Her shamanic practices come from the Huichol lineage, a shamanic path of the heart, and Stella is sublimely happy sharing shamanic drum journeys and holding sacred ceremonial space for deep healing and transformation. She loves dancing, singing, mountain biking, and communing with nature whenever she can! She has been leading retreats with Renee for several years now and is delighted to be back playing together with a new Human Pod in Bimini!!
